Mission

The mission of the NNOA is to unite Olympians, represent them and serve their needs throughout their lives and to promote Olympism.

Purpose

The purposes for which the NNOA is established is as follows:

To bring the Olympians of Namibia together and encourage them to use their status and experience to promote and develop the ideals of Olympus throughout Namibia.

To represent and promote the interests of Olympians and to provide relief for Olympians in need at any stage of their lives.

To build an active Regular Membership dedicated to the mission and purpose of the NNOA.

To operate for charitable and educational purposes in harmony with the fundamental principles set forth in the Olympic Charter.

World Olympians Association

Membership

Any athlete who has represented Namibia at a Summer or Winter Olympic Games and has been designated as an Olympian according to the definition of the IOC shall be a member of the NNOA and shall have full rights including the right to participate and speak at meetings, to vote and to be elected into office.
