Coaches, and other Athlete Support Personnel, who have a close and trusted relationship with an athlete have a significant and influential role in clean sport. Athletes rely on their entourage as a vital source of information and as a mentor. This requires an understanding of anti-doping rules and how they can positively influence an athlete’s values and behaviours to keep sport real.

We invite athletes, coaches, and other support personnel to sign up as our expert panelists discuss “A coach’s role in clean sport”. Joining us are Claire Lane, UKAD Clean Sport Education Officer, and Benjamin Maier, Olympian in bobsleigh and coach for the Austrian team at Gangwon 2024, who will provide practical tips and share their experiences on how coaches can take an active role in clean sport. There will also be time to answer your questions live at the end of the session.
